Backups and data browsing work in free version, but restoring data needs a license. Keep 10-15 GB of free space on the device (~5GB for 64GB models), backups use it for temp files and lack of space will cause longer backups. If there will be too many updated files it may restart the backup.

In case of full 256/512Gb devices better put the phone in airplane mode during the first backup. Backups are incremental so next backups will be much faster. Make the initial backup (can take a while depending on your NAS/drive/router, get ready to leave overnight in case of full 256GB devices).
Change backup location to the backup folder on your NAS. Open iMazing and connect your phone(iPad/iPod) via USB. If possible, connect NAS storage to computer via USB or Ethernet cable to speed up the transfer. Create the backup folder in the share location, just general "Backups" or a separate folder for each device if you wish. If you are on Win, map the share to some letter if not mounted yet.
